This award recognizes establishments that are focused on delivering great service to customers, and consistently earning excellent traveler reviews maintaining an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five. There is no application process for the Certificate of Excellence, this achievement is earned over time, and only extended to qualifying businesses once a year. Approximately 10% of businesses receive a Certificate of Excellence.
